Broker Satisfaction Peaks, Survey Finds
22 Oct 2021Consumer satisfaction with real estate brokers peaked during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) and Nanos Research recently conducted a survey to find out how satisfied Canadians are with their real estate broker. The purpose of this survey was to determine what factors lead people to use the services of a broker and the reasons that might lead them not to do so.
As the survey results show, Canadians expect many things from a broker, and the top three factors will come as no surprise. When asked what the most important qualities a broker should exhibit, consumers cited “honesty and integrity” first, followed closely by “knowledge of the buying process” and “good knowledge of the buying process”. negotiation". These results take on their true meaning when paired with the most valuable service a broker like me can offer: helping the client find the right property.
In addition, the survey found that 81% of homeowners active in the housing market have used the services of a broker to buy or sell their latest home. On a scale of 1 to 10, 93% of respondents rated their level of satisfaction at least "average", of which 61% rated it "high" (between 8 and 10).
